2021 Fall Internships
Arcpoint Studios is looking for talented, creative individuals to join our Dallas-Fort Worth video production team as interns. Our complete in-house production team works side-by-side with our clients on a huge range of projects; from branded storytelling, event recaps, social content creation to scripted commercials.
Arcpoint Studios offers an exciting internship program providing current students, recent graduates and self learners from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in the production industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the production industry and will seek to learn more about the industry, as well as gain experience in communications, marketing, pre-production, production and post-production.

Digital Content Marketing Intern
The Digital Content Marketing Intern will be working alongside arcpoint studios’ in-house business development and team of producers to bring in-house and client visions to life. You will assist in internal and external marketing projects as needed; including, but not limited to: written and visual collateral creation, copywriting, scriptwriting, storyboarding, production, social media and more. This position is perfect for those who are great communicators, have a knack for storytelling and would like to explore the production realm of marketing.
Production Intern
The Production intern will work alongside our team of Producers and Director of Production to ensure productions and projects meet client expectations and deadlines. They will have hands-on experience creating call sheets, craft services, production assisting and using gear such as cameras, lighting equipment and audio equipment. This position is for those who are multifaceted and want a well rounded experience in the world of production.
Post-Production Intern
The Post-Production intern will be working alongside our editors to ensure project deadlines are being met. You will help prep projects in Post by organizing media, syncing audio, pulling selects and creating rough cuts. This position is for those who have a passion for learning, editing and animation while using programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Audition, etc. The ideal candidate is relentless at perfecting their craft.
Qualifications:
Must have proper work authorization to be employed within the United States
Must be Mac proficient
Have a strong interest and passion for the film and production industry
Must be highly creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, a fast learner, an analytical thinker and a collaborative team player
Solid interpersonal skills to work as part of a project team and foster collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a high attention to detail
Strong planning and organizational skills with sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to take, internalize and implement constructive feedback
Working knowledge of social media trends and applications including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
Application Process:
Please submit a cover letter, resume and any additional materials such as portfolios, writing samples and/or demo reels to internship@arcpointstudios.com. Application is due by 8/20/21.
Duration:
15 week internship starting on *9/1/21 and ending on *12/17/21 with a week in between for vacation. 16 hours work week with a hybrid of in-studio and working remote.
Location:
Remote and in-studio at 2212 W Peter Smith Street, Fort Worth, TX, 76102.
Compensation:
Interns will receive a $750 stipend upon the successful completion of the internship program. APS is willing to work with schools for school credit.

To keep our employees and interns safe from COVID-19, our team works a hybrid of in-studio and remote. To ensure safety on set, Arcpoint Studios is following Governor’s Strike Force to Open Texas - Media Production Minimum Standard Health Protocols Checklist.
What we've been up to: Helo Perspective
When Helo Perspective came to us in need of a video, we were very excited. We live in the world of UAV technology so it’s pretty easy for us to get on board with their mission and vision. UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) a.k.a. drones has been changing many industries for quite sometime. From events and brands to surveying buildings, drones have had a major impact on the growth of businesses. The rise of drones has introduced many new services and opportunities such as an increased in safety measures and retrieving results more efficiently.
Who is Helo Perspective?
Helo Perspective is a team of seasoned professionals prepared to serve businesses with drone footage. Utilizing unmanned aircraft systems, businesses will receive high definition images in a timely manner providing a business safer, more reliable information. They have a network of pilots that are all Gold Standard Certified Pilots who have completed FAA Part 107 licensing and receive ongoing training.
the goal
When Helo came to us they had a few goals in mind; they needed a video that explained who they are, what they do and why they are the expert in their field. They want to be known as the leaders in the drone industry, which is no easy task but through many discovery and creative meetings, we developed a concept that encompassed all of these elements. This video is essentially their Brand Identity Film, which reflects who they are and who they can service. This video was created to land on their website.
Through script, motion graphics and aerial footage, we created a video that aligns with Helo’s brand messaging in a cinematic and creative way.

When it comes to cameras, we trust Canon to get the job done. Here’s why.
Image Quality
The combination of color science, skin tones and dynamic range is unparalleled when it comes to efficient and functional cinema cameras. While Canon has always been hindered by their frame rates in comparison to their competitors, their super 35 sensor is incredible and outputs a strong, colorful image. Accompanied with dual pixel auto-focus and 4k recording capability, Canon is our go to for video production for its clean and precise image.

Color Science
The cinema series works great for us because we film a lot of people in natural settings. Canons typically produce a natural looking image that don’t require a lot of color grading. The skin tones are often natural in color resulting in a clean and organic image. From our experience going back and forth between Sony and Canon, Sony cameras often produce a green or magenta skin tone. This makes it hard to achieve natural color quality and results in a lot of color grading/more time spent in post-production.
Functionality
Canons are easy to maneuver in run and gun situations which is ideal for the types of projects that we work on. We can go from handheld to tripod and stabilizer in a matter of minutes. All in all, there’s less rigging involved which makes it efficient for on the fly shoots or busy production days. It’s a Cinema camera with optimal functionality. What could be better?
